Scholarship Winners Announced
CentraCom Interactive announces the winners of two $1250 scholarships to Snow College and three $500 scholarships to other schools. We received many applications from highly qualified candidates from each of our service areas.

Heather Anderson
Heather is a graduating student from North Sanpete High School with a current GPA of 3.7. She is the member of the National Honor Society. She has received honors in english, biology and financial literacy.
Additionally, Heather participates in many extra-curricular activities, including soccer, track and the school’s performing choir. She has also taken many college level concurrent enrollment courses, such as Biology, Psychology and U.S. History.
Besides her scholastic work, she has worked several years for Home Plate Cafe as cook and waitress. She also volunteers on Youth City Council and serves in leadership positions in her church.
She plans to attend Southern Utah University and plans to pursue an Elementary Education degree with a minor in Photography. She wants to teach first and second grade.
Raberta Garlick
Raberta is currently a student at North Sanpete High School. As a member of the school tennis team and golf team, she received MVP awards both in tennis and golf. She has maintained a GPA of 3.88 and is a member of The National Honor Society.
Recently she suffered a broken collar bone and noticed the important service rendered her by the nurses and medical staff. She also volunteered as an aide in the elementary school. This two experiences created a desire to serve others as a profession. Her intention is to become an elementary teacher or a nurse.
She serves her community in many ways. Her involvement in a mixture of extra-curricular activities give her an opportunity to serve and influence many people. From serving in local elementary schools to volunteering with community events, she helps others become better.
She plans to attend Snow College. There she will work toward an education or nursing degree. Her choice of attending Snow College will increase her scholarship by $750 for a total value of $1250.
Katelin Jensen
Katelin is a graduating student of Richfield High School. She has a GPA of 3.97 and is a member of The National Honor Society. Upon graduation she will not only leave with her high school diploma, but she has also earned a one-year certificate in business with an emphasis in computer applications.
She is a member of the National Honor Society. She holds CTE Certificates in word processing and administrative procedures. She was recently received the Distinguished Scholar Award from Southern Utah Univeristy. Katelin is also involved in many community service organizations including: Richfield Youth City Council, Governing Youth Council, Student body officer, various church service positions and many more.
She plans to continue her education at Southern Utah University where she plans to pursue an Elementary Education degree and believes she can complete her degree in only three years.
Brooke Seely
Brooke is a graduating senior at North Sanpete High School and is the top student in the school. She has a GPA of 4.0 (including such classes as AP U.S. History, Chemistry 1010, English 1010, Calculus and other advanced courses). She is also the North Sanpete Math Sterling Scholar.
In addition to her outstanding academic record, Brooke participates on the high school athletic teams. She was the leader on the state championship volleyball team. She also is a member of the school’s basketball and softball team. Brooke received the prestigious Academic All-State award. She also has volunteered at the local elementary schools and with numerous community events.
She will pursue a athletic training degree at Southern Utah University. Afterwards, she would like to continue her education with a graduate degree in Physical Therapy.
Shayden White
Shayden is a senior at Payson High School and has maintained a grade point average of 3.81. She will graduate with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certifications.
Last summer, while her grandfather was very ill and spent several days in the hospital, Shayden cared for him. This experience helped her gain an appreciation for the service of the nursing staff at the hospital. Afterwards, she realized she wanted to pursue a nursing career in the wellness industry. She enrolled at Moutainland Applied Technology College (while attending High School) to start her eduction in the medical field. In addition to her academic pursuits, she also has been involved with her church and local community. She is earning funds for college by working for Subway as a night manager.
She will pursue a nursing degree at Snow College. Her choice of attending Snow College will increase her scholarship by $750 for a total value of $1250.
