CentraCom Service Project
The yearly service project has become a tradition and a way for CentraCom to give back to our communities. It isn’t often you will find a company willing to allow the majority of it’s employees to extend service to a community. We believe that because we are your local service provider and we live and work among you, it is a great way to express our gratitude for the support we receive. The growing communities of Santaquin, Utah and Goshen, Utah were selected for this year’s project. Company officials met with the Santaquin and Goshen City asking if there were projects we could do to show appreciation for the support their communities have given us.
Leaving early in the morning, the majority of CentraCom employees donned “work” clothing and departed for Utah county. There were several different projects planned. First, in Santaquin, new decorative wood chips were spread on the landscape at the entrance of the city from the freeway. With rakes and shovels, the wood chips were spread the leveled.
Then it was off to the area of Summit Ridge, a new development on the south end of Santaquin. As part of the new development, a children’s park needed wood chips spread out. Again, shovels and rakes in hand, the many CentraCom employees made quick work of what would have taken many hours for the city workers to complete.
The project in Goshen required the use of specialized equipment CentraCom uses daily for maintenance of the network. In Goshen, the task was to hang the chain-link fencing over two backstops and four dugouts for the city baseball diamonds. The use of two bucket trucks and many strong arms helped get the park ready for the coming summer activities. Again, many hands accomplished a task that would have taken weeks for the city workers.
Dedication to service is the foundation of our business and continues to be the driving force for CentraCom. Each year we look for better ways to serve our communities. We appreciate the support and opportunities we have to serve each of your communities.

Thank you so much for helping with the ball fields at Goshen. The kids played 3 games there last night.
We realize it was a long and cold day, but so appreciated by our community. You guys are awesome.
